Italy: Sanremo 2016 ‘Giovani’ final on November 27th

A total of 12 acts have selected to participate in the Sanremo 2016 Giovani (‘Young’) round. It will be held on November 27th and will be transmitted live on RAI 1.

Out of the twelve participating acts, six will qualify to the Nuove Proposte (Newcomers) group of Sanremo 2016. A committee will select then another two entries which will make the final 8 acts in the group.

Sanremo 2016 will be held on 9-13 February. The winner of the Campioni (Established artists) round will have the right to represent Italy in the final of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. Check out the full mechanism of the competition here.
