Daniel Kajmakoski, the representative of FYR Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, has finished an important mission he set out before the contest.

The singer had previously announced that all the money raised from hard copy sales of his Eurovision Song Contest entry, Autumn leaves, as well as promotional materials would go to a children’s hospital in Skopje.

Daniel raised 17,700 with his song, which has helped fund a new respiratory machine for their intensive care unit.

Aspazija Sofijanova, a doctor at the hospital, praised the singer for his generosity and said the machine will help aid their work.

We thank infinitely Daniel’s donation, and it turned out that not only has he a beautiful voice but also a beautiful soul.

The unit will help us to fight for the health of many children who are coming into our hospital.

Daniel Kajmakoski won Skopje Fest in 2014 meaning he won the right to represent FYR Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

He finished 15th in the first semi-final with 28 points, meaning he failed to qualify for the grand final.
