The performers of the 6th edition of the French version of Strictly Come Dancing (known as Dancing with the stars in the US), are being revealed gradually in the French press, and TV magazine Télé Star has published today that Loïc Nottet will be one of the celebrity contestants.

The Belgian representative scored an impressive 4th position this year, the best result for Belgium in 12 years. Rhythm inside had the biggest impact of the night on France as its 12 points were given to Belgium. As a result, it is not surprising to see Loïc taking part in this year’s competition. Furthermore, Loïc Nottet has mentioned several times in interviews and on stage, his passion for dancing.

It will be another great opportunity for him to improve his popularity since the TV show has every year very strong and solid viewing figures. Indeed, since its creation 6 years ago, the show has an average of more than 5 million people watching, a high score for a Saturday night.

Loïc Nottet will compete against local singers, actors, TV presenters and Djibril Cissé, an international footballer. The show is set to start sometimes in September.
