Patrick Fiori, the 1993 French Eurovision entrant in Millstreet, is back with another declaration of love to the island of Corsica yet again!

Twenty-two years after placing 4th with Mama Corsica, bringing the Corsican language on the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time, Patrick Fiori has released the song Corsica in duet with popular French singer Patrick Bruel. The track is a cover of the song initially performed by famous Corsican singer Petru Guelfucci and is considered by many as the most beautiful tribute ever made to the Mediterranean island.

Corsica is the first extract of the upcoming album Corsu – Mezzu Mezzu. Directed by Patrick Fiori, the album will compile songs celebrating Corsica, its culture and its language. Each song will be performed as a duet between a Corsican artist and a singer coming from mainland France, building a bridge between the island and the continent.

Patrick Fiori will appear himself on two tracks. Corsica is the first one, performed with well-known figure Patrick Bruel whose connection with the Eurovision Song Contest is Sandrine François for whom he penned the 2002 French entry Il faut du temps.
