The first semi-final of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest has just taken place, live at the Wiener Stadthalle.

A total of 16 semi-finalists performed their entries on the stage to the public, who have since voted for their favourite entries of the night. The public votes were then combined with the jury votes, which were decided yesterday during the evening dress rehearsal.

Tonight’s winners were revealed in random order at the end of the show. Here are tonight’s 10 winners!

For the past few weeks, we’ve been asking the readers of ESCToday to predict their qualifiers for the 2 semi-finals of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. The results were revealed earlier this evening and here you can compare them with tonight’s winners.

The next live show takes place this Thursday on the 21 May, were 17 countries will compete in the second semi-final for a place at the Grand Final on the 23 May.

    Dear Ani just because I don’t like the song and the act it doesn’t mean that i’m denying the genocide that happened and I’m definitely not giving any sympathy votes because of that, I’m from Bosnia and during the war we didn’t get 12points from other country’s just because of that. Yes I think the idea was nice but the song and the performance were very bad. Luckily there are enough Armenians aboard that disagree with me, so enjoy the finals.
