The new composition of the ten year old band Barbados, who've finished second twice and fourth once in the Swedish national final Melodifestivalen, has decided to participate for the fourth consecutive year with the song Bye Bye.

As if it wasn't enough that the former lead singer of the group Barbados, Magnus Carlsson, will perform the song Not a Sinner, nor a Saint in one of the semi finals of Melodifestivalen 2003, the official website of the band has already started talking about a possible entry in the Swedish final next year by referring to the date 17 December. “Of course our goal is once again to participate in 'Melodifestivalen',” the group writes in an open letter at their site. According to a fan site of Mathias Holmgren, who came fourth this weekend in the Swedish edition of Fame Factory and who just accepted the offer to become the new lead singer of Barbados, the band will perform the song Bye Bye in the upcoming preselection.

In today's edition of the Swedish news paper Expressen it is said to be “absolutely sure” that the duo consisting of Sofia Källgren and the so-called “piano king” Robert Wells will perform the song My Love composed by Marcos Ubeda, who even is the man behind Aqua Playa, the song which will be performed by Afro-Dite. “It's a superb tune, very Enya-inspired. I play the piano and Sofia sings. We'll take advantage of the possibility to perform the song with four more artists on stage”, Robert Wells told the news paper.
