Today another former Polish representative released a new album. Anna Maria Jopek, who represented Poland in 1997 with the song Ale jestem, recorded an album with Pat Metheny, a well-known guitarist.

The long-awaited album finally was released. Anna Maria Jopek said that “this meeting is my biggest satisfaction. This album isn't a way to succeed, it is a success. It is final intoxication.” The album is called Upojenie (Intoxication) and contains 14 songs, including the first single Tam, gdzie nie sięga wzrok (There, where the eye cannot reach).

Music shops around Poland purchased about 40 000 copies before premiere, which means the album is already a Gold Record in Poland.

Anna Maria Jopek released several albums since she became popular in Poland after Eurovision Song Contest 1997. She is now one of the most famous Polish female singers. Pat Metheny is a well-known guitarist in the whole world.

On 9th December, the special concert will take place in Sala Kongresowa in Warsaw. All tickets are sold, so it is possible to organise another concert at the same day.
