Atrevete will the 3rd entry to compete at the forthcoming 2013 Spanish Eurovision Song Selection show. It beat  Revolucion in the online voting which kicked off on February 5th.

 Atrevete won the online voting with a landslide victory gaining 69.9% of the votes whilst Revolucion gained 30.1% of the votes.

The story so far:

2 songs ( Atrevete and Revolucion) were submitted for an online public vote in order to compete at the forthcoming 2013 Spanish Eurovision Song Selection Show scheduled to be held on 26 February at the Saint Cugat Studios in Barcelona.  El Sueño de Morfeo will sing a  total of 3 songs during the show: Contigo hasta el final, Dame tu voz and Atrevete will battle for the golden ticket to Malmo. The 2013 Spanish Eurovision entry will be selected via a jury/public televoting deliberation.

Last December, TVE announced that the Spanish band El Sueño de Morfeo had been selected via an internal selection to represent Spain at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.

Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has won the contest twice in 1968 and 1969, having succesfully hosted the 1969 contest in Madrid. Stay tuned for more information and details regarding Spain and the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
