KAN, the Israeli national broadcaster, has announced that Yuval Raphael’s Eurovision entry has been selected.

Yuval Raphael was crowned the winner of the The Next Eurovision Star and will be representing Israel at the forthcoming 2025 Eurovision Song Contest. Her Eurovision entry has been written and composed by Keren Peres and includes words from the Song of Songs.

Keren Peles is no new name when it comes to the Eurovision Song Contest as she the songwriter behind Eden Golan’s Eurovision 2024 entry ‘Hurricane’.

The song will be now handed over to the EBU for approval. KAN will be premiering the 2025 Israeli entry on 9 March 2025.

Israel at Eurovision

Israel debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1973 and has won the competition four times (1978, 1979, 1998, 2018) and has hosted the event thrice  (Jerusalem 1979, 1999 and Tel Aviv 201).
