The ground is shaking, the lava is spreading whilst the volcano is erupting in Italy. We’re not talking about the Vesuvius or the Etna, but about Francesca’s latest song and videoclip.

The upcoming young Italian artist Francesca Michielin has released her brand new videoclip Vulcano. The song has been written by Francesca Michielin and Giacomo Triglia.

Francesca and Italy in Eurovision

In 2016 Francesca competed at the Sanremo Song Festival and placed 2nd in the competition and was invited to fly to Stockholm to fly the Italian flag at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with Nessun grado di seperazione after the winners Studio declined.

Italy debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 and has won the competition twice. The Italians withdrew from the contest in 1998 and it took them 13 years to return. The country came back with a big bang in 2011 with Raphael Gualazzi who achieved a 2nd place in Dusseldorf.
