Latvia debuted at the Eurovison Song Contest in 2000 with Brainstorm and has won the competition once in 2002 with Marie N. The country successfully hosted the 2003 Eurovision Song Contest in Riga.
The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 9, 11 and 13 May at the IEC in Kyiv, Ukraine.
