The 2016 Bulgarian Eurovision hopeful  Polin Genova was given a grand welcome when she arrived in Sofia, back from Stockholm.

Crowds of Bulgarian fans and local media were waiting for Poli Genova at Sofia’s airport in order to welcome her back from her Eurovision journey. Poli Genova flew the Bulgarian flag at the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time and achieved Bulgaria’s best placing in the contest last Saturday, when she came 4th in the Grand final.

Polin Genova represented her homeland at the 2016 ESC in Stockholm with her entry If love was a crime.

Bulgaria debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 and is yet to win the event.
