NTU, the Ukrainian national broadcaster has confirmed the dates of the 2016 Ukrainian national selection.

The 2016 Ukrainian Eurovision national selection will consist of 2 semi-finals and a grand final scheduled to be held on 6, 13 and 21 February. The grand final will be held in Kyiv on Sunday 21 February at 19:00 local time and will be aired live on NTU and STB.

The 2016 Ukrainian entry will be selected via public televoting/ jury deliberation.

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Ericsson Globen Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.

Ukraine will be back in the competition after a year’s absence, having missed out competing at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

Ukraine debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and won the event in 2004 with Ruslana. The country successfully hosted the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv.
