Dami Im, the 2016 Aussie Eurovision hopeful has released a snippet of her Eurovision entry Sound of Silence.

Dami Im was selected via an internal selection by SBS in order to represent Australia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. The 2016 Australian entry will be premiered tonight (Europe), early  morning in Australia. Meanwhile enjoy a snippet of the 2016 Aussie entry Sound of Silence.

Dami was born in South Korea, she moved to Logan Valley, Brisbane, with her family when she was 9. In 2013, Dami stepped into the spotlight from nowhere, taking out the X Factor crown and winning the hearts of over 3 million Australians with her astonishing voice and transformation into a fully-fledged pop diva.

Since then, Dami, a Sony Music recording artist, has earned multiple ARIA accreditations, including #1 chart positions and multi-platinum sales for the likes of her self-titled debut album and hit singles Alive, Super love and Gladiator.

Australia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 with Guy Sebastian and is yet to win the event. 2016 will mark the country’s 2nd Eurovision participation.

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is scheduled to be held on 10, 12 and 14 May at the Globen Arena in Stockholm.
