This year’s Hungarian representative, Boggie will perform her Eurovision entry Wars for nothing at the Vienna State Opera.

Her performance will be part of the show Pop meets Opera which is being hosted by ORF and the Vienna State Opera just two days before the semi finals begin on the 17th May.

Boggie will be joined by by fellow Eurovision contestants, Conchita Wurst (2014 Austrian Eurovision winner), Molly Sterling (Ireland 2015), Morland and Debrah Scarlett (Norway 2015), John Karayiannis (Cyprus 2015) and Nina Sublatti (Georgia 2015). Also performing at the show will be the internationally acclaimed Juan Diego Flores.

Boggie told the Hungarian broadcaster MTV:

After receiving the invitation from the Austrian organizers I was extremely happy and proud at the same time. I could not believe this is all happening to me. It was not even in my wildest dreams to stand on the same stage as Placido Domingo… Whatever happens in Vienna, I will be forever grateful to fate for this gift.

Boggie will be accompanied on stage with Áron Sebestyén (co-author of Wars for nothing) on the piano and children choir in the background.

Placido Domingo cancelled his performance at the concert due to ill health.

Hello my name is Daniel Doyle. I am 19 years old and I live in Rushden, United Kingdom. My first Eurovision was in 2004 where I was given permission by my parents to stay up late to watch the contest. Since then I have been a hardcore fan. The first Eurovision I went to was in 2010 and I hope to go to more in the near future.
