Loreen is ready for a big comeback. The singer who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 will release her new single Paper light (Higher) later this week. To promote the song, she will perform it live during the Andra Chansen show in Melodifestivalen on Saturday 7 March.

It has been a while since we heard new music from Loreen. The singer released her debut album in 2012, a few months after her Eurovision victory with the track Euphoria. A year later she released the single We got the power, which she performed during the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013, held in Malmö, thanks to her win for Sweden. Now she is back to win the hearts of Europe again with new single Paper light (higher). The track will premiered on Spotify on 5 March and will be available worldwide on iTunes on 9 March.

The singer teased the new project on her social media accounts and posted a few short videos of a meeting of her fans in Stockholm, to promote the upcoming release. She announced that she will be performing her new track during the Melodifestivalen show on Saturday 7 March, when eight contestants will compete for the two available spots in the final on 14 March in Andra Chansen. There is no news on a new album just yet, but it is known that she worked with several producers on new songs, of which she performed a few during her tour in spring 2014.
