Globally successful dance act, Uniting Nations are to prepare a bid for the United Kingdom 2008 Eurovision Song Contest entry. Scottish newspaper, the Daily Record has announced that Uniting Nations producer Paul Keenan is to make a bid for Eurovision glory with his writing partner and former British Eurovision representative, Daz Sampson.

Daz entered the competition in 2006 with Teenage Life as a solo artist, but now his music partner, Paul is reportedly keen to join in the next bid. The policeman turned music maestro, who actually met Daz in the line of duty, according to a previously shown television documentary, is keen to try his own hand at representing his country Europe's biggest music event.

Paul Keenan's new solo track So It Yourself is released digitally on Monday. He told the scottish newspaper "We're going to attempt it again this year with me producing the track. We're hoping to get a European person on board to perform the vocal and we think we'll win the UK heats with it. The song is pop and catchy and will do well. It would be great to join Daz in Serbia."
