Antra Stafecka
It’s the night
Antra Stafecka was born on 4th June 1991 in the Ogre district in the centre of Latvia. She is a singer/songwriter who specialises in pop and rock music. Aged 16, she participated in the television show Koru kari, where she learnt choral composition.
In early 2012, she competed in OKartes skatuve 2 and despite a number of successful performances, Antra had to leave the programme due to health reasons. She made a comeback in 2013 when she bid to represent her country in the Latvian national final, Dziesma, and finished in 4th place with the song When you are with me. Antra Stafecka will compete in Dziesma again this year with the song It’s the night.
