Katrīna Cīrule

Katrīna Cīrule is a soul, r n b, jazz, blues, pop and gospel singer from Riga, Latvia.
She has been one of the lead soloists in the Riga Gospel Choir for the last 13 years, and started performing solo in 2007. She has also appeared in various Latvian talent shows, including Latvijas Talants (Latvia’s Talent) in 2008, Koru Kari (Choir Wars) in 2013 and most recently came second in the Rādi, ko vari (Show what you can) talent show
She has worked as a vocal and stage performing arts teacher at the Institute of Rhythm in Riga, and her favourite music includes John Mayer, Erykah Badu, Michael Buble and Groove Armada. She is also a songwriter, having co-written her song Bass for the Latvian selection
