The countdown to the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest has started as we are now heading towards May, leaving the 2014 Eurovision season behind and are very much into the 2015 Eurovision season.

The theme and slogan for the coming Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna is #BuildingBridges. We will be #BuildingBridges from the past to the the present, from the present to the past, from Vienna to the world, from Europe to Vienna, from the East to the West, from the West to the East, from the South to the North, from the North to the South etc. as we will be celebrating the 60th anniversary of our favourite television show next May.

The Eurovision Song Contest was born on 24 May in Lugano, Switzerland in 1956 and has come a long way since its pioneer years. In Vienna a total of 39 countries will join the party and celebrate a festival of song, music and entertainment.

ESCToday has been covering the Eurovision Song Contest since 2000, the very year it was born and 2015 will mark its 15th anniversary. As we kick off January and 2015 we invite you all to #JoinUs to #FeeltheRythm, #SharetheMoment and for #BuildingBridges #UnderthesameSky come May.

January, February and March will be busy months with many national selections and national finals taking place throughout the continent, bringing both intrigue and excitement as the 2015 potential entries and acts will be selected.  The 2015 Eurovision season kicked off last November when FYR Macedonia and Malta held their respective national finals, followed by Albania and Belarus in December. Montenegro, San Marino, Belgium, Albania, The Netherlands, Belarus, Malta and FYR Macedonia selected their Eurovision 2015 acts in 2014.

Hence we invite you to join us in the journey to Vienna!
