The singer who took the flag of Luxembourg to the Eurovision Song Contest for the last time has joined forces with the singer Robin Beck for a Christmas special version of one of his songs, as published by L’Essentiel.

Jimmy Martin was part of the duo Modern Times, the last Eurovision entrants for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg back in 1993. He released his latest album, Wild at heart, last year, and one of the tracks of this record, I wish you were here tonight, has just been released as a Christmas special version, informs lessentiel.lu.

The reprise of the song for this occasion is titled I wish you were here for Christmas, and it is sung together with Robin Beck, the star who released the hit First time in the late 80s.

I wish you were here for Christmas is available for purchase from Amazon and iTunes.

Jimmy Martin participated with Simone Weis as Modern Times in the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest for Luxembourg with the song Donne-moi une chance. The country has never returned to the Contest since then.
