Jessy Matador, the French representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, is going to be making a guest appearance on L’Ile des verities (Isle of truths).

L’Ile des verities is a French reality programme, currently filming its fourth season in Tahiti, which Jessy will be appearing in.

The show sees a group of contestants, who’ve previously been on other reality TV shows, living on an island and taking part in tasks in order to discover ‘truths’ about themselves.

Jessy represented France in 2010 with his song Allez ola olé, and being the representative of a big five country, he automatically gained a place in the final where he finished in 12th place.

France is one of the founder members of the Eurovision Song Contest, having participated since the contest began in 1956.

They have won the contest on five occasions, with the most recent coming when Marie Myriam won in 1977 with the song L’oiseau et l’enfant.
