Today, Saturday 3rd May, the Eurovicious Pride Square was officially opened  in Copenhagen.

The grand opening took place at Regnbuepladsen (Rainbow Square) at 16:00 (Danish time). The event was located next to Copenhagen City Hall and was also not that far away from the Fan Mile and Eurovision Village. ” We set up a mini version of Pride Square, where there will be daily celebration, colors , entertainment , fun and debate , and the goal is of course to show the many tourists who come to Copenhagen in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 that our capital is a diverse and tolerant city where the LGBT community will be both seen and heard” – Lars Henriksen , president of the Copenhagen Pride

Hello my name is Daniel Doyle. I am 19 years old and I live in Rushden, United Kingdom. My first Eurovision was in 2004 where I was given permission by my parents to stay up late to watch the contest. Since then I have been a hardcore fan. The first Eurovision I went to was in 2010 and I hope to go to more in the near future.
