Firelight will open the second semi-final for Malta this Thursday. However, in amongst the preparations, the band have made an effort to meet with the other artists in the competition.

The Maltese band met with Norway’s Carl Espen who will sing his entry Silent Storm in the same semi-final at Firelight. Richard Edwards and Carl Espen took turns singing each other’s entry. Carl expressed how current the Maltese entry is, and his expectation that it will receive good radio play in his home country because of the style of music.

In addition to Carl form Norway, Firelight also spent an afternoon with Aram Mp3 from Armenia as they toured around the city of Copenhagen. You can watch the highlights from the encounter below.

Mei Finegold, the Israeli representative, also met up with the band. Firelight and Mei met each other a number of times during promotional tours during the last few months. Malta and Israel have neighboring dressing rooms in the backstage area. Mei will perform Same Heart right after Firelight on 8 May.

In the video below, besides the meeting with Carl Espen from Norway, you can catch a glimpse of the meets between the Greek representatives Freaky Fortune and RiskyKidd, and the Georgian representatives The Shin and Mariko.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2014 will be held on 6th, 8th and 10th of May. Stay tuned to esctoday.com for more news about Malta and all the other participating countries, live from Copenhagen.
