Thirty – seven countries are competing with the aim to lift the trophy in Copenhagen. The next country to be introduced is Slovenia. Singing for Slovenia this year is Tinkara Kovač.

Tinkara is a multi talented musician who has been in the music industry for the last 15 years. Not only is she a singer/songwriter, she also plays the flute professionally. Her talents have helped her achieve numerous awards over the year, including Gold and Platinum selling albums, 2nd place in the 1999 Slovenian national selection for Eurovision, and first prize at the Melodies of the Sea and Sun festivals in 1997 and 2013.
In total, Tinkara has released 9 albums and has performed at more than 800 gigs throughout Slovenia and neighbouring countries. This achievement has allowed her to collaborate with singers such as Robert Plant from Led Zepplin , Dan Lavery, and Bungaro.
Last year, she established her own record label, NAI. Through NAI, she completed a special project of performing lullabies and musical bedtime stories in Slovenian and other languages.
