A new series, Europa i glimmer, will showcase some of the most interesting performers to grace the Eurovision Song Contest stage, and get their views on the contest, their country, and life.
Normally, we see long-legged beautiful people in Eurovision, rooting for the finest show, then forgetting it. But sometimes there is something that just goes totally against what you expect. I would like to meet and try to understand these performers, show host Sisse Sejr-Nørgaard said.
Europa i glimmer will begin airing on 27 March, and will span 6 episodes, each featuring a different past performer. The first episode visits 2007 runner-up Verka Serduchka in Ukraine. The series will then travel Europe, visiting past performers in Ukraine, Finland, Ireland, Portugal, Moldova and Denmark.
