The first round of online voting of Mision Eurovision, to shortlist the 15 competing songs to 10 will end tonight at midnight CET. Fans have been invited to vote for their favourite songs on the official website of Mision Eurovision which has in fact received nearly 200,000 visitors.
TVE received 1001 entries in their quest and search to find the best song to represent Spain in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest. 15 of them were shortlisted to enter the competition and were introduced to the Spanish fans on www.misioneurovision.es , the official website of Mision Eurovision. The Spanish audience were invited to listen to the entries and cast their votes online.
The results of thefirst round of voting will be officially announced under notary during the 3rd Gala of Mision Eurovision next Tuesday,23rdJanuary.5of the mostvotedsongs onlinealong with 5 songs chosen by the Mision Eurovision jury will then qualify for thesecond round.
Fans will be invited again to listen and vote for their favourites, online voting will be opened from24 thto 28th January.Hence the Spanish public will have the chance to shortlist the 10 competing entries tothe final 5, who will battle their way into the final of Mision Eurovision. 3 of the entries will be chosen by the public via online voting along with 2 more entries chosen by the Mision Eurovision jury. These 5 entries will compete in the grand final of Mision Eurovision, to be held on the 20th of February, where it will lie entirely in the hands of the Spanish audience to elect the entry to represent Spainat the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.
