The 1999 and 2008 Swedish representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, Charlotte Perrelli is back with a new Christmas album and a new tour planned across Sweden in support of her forthcoming release.

Charlotte Perrelli won the contest in 1999 in Jerusalem with Take me to your heaven. She has since returned to the contest in 2008 and placed 18th with the song Hero. She recently tried to represent Sweden again at Melodifestivalen 2012 with The girl but failed to make it through her heats to the final at the Globen Arena.

Perrelli has returned with a seasonal album Min Barndoms Jul (My childhood Christmas) which includes vocals by her two sons Angelo and Alessio who also appear on the front cover of the album with the singer.

She is quoted as saying It’s just about as christmassy as it gets. I love the old, traditional kind of Christmas music, which hasn’t been messed around with in any way. It reminds me of childhood and that’s why I chose to call the album Min Barndoms Jul.

The complete track listing is listed below (English seasonal songs in Swedish with vocals by Perrelli’s sons Angelo and Alessio)

  1. En barndoms jul
