Gianluca, the Maltesse representative found some free time away from the rehersals and his team has planned some interesting visits for the young singer, who is also a doctor.
Tomorrow morning, the Maltese entrant plans to visit a children’s hospital at Skane University in Lund. That institution provides peadiatric intensive care for children from neonatal to adolescents form all over Sweden. Gianluca said that it is his role and responsibility to cure people and he wants to use his participation to the Eurovision Song Contest in order to provide an alternative care for the children. Given the opportunity, Gianluca explained that the true meaning of this year’s slogan is to unite people and, why not, to use the contest to bring some happiness to the patients at SUS Hospital.
The Maltese hopeful will meet with Dr Igor Zindovic, a singing doctor at SUS Hospital and one of the main characters of the popular TV series in Sweden, Junior Doctors.
Gianluca will perform 6th in semi-final 2, on Thursday 16 May his song Tomorrow.
