Carola, the winner of the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest will perform in the interval act at the final of Eurovision 2013, on 18th of May.

It has been confirmed that the Swedish Eurovision diva, Carola, will be the interval act during the final of the Eurivion Song Contest in Malmö, on 18th of May.

She is one of the biggest artist in our country, stated the show producer Christer Björkman.
Mr. Björkman said that the act will be about Sweden and especially the Swedish culture “The interval contains singing, dancing and humor. In a funny way Carola will entertain the viewers of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest final”.

Carola represented three times her country at the Eurovision Song Contest. In 1983 she participated with her song with Främling in Germany where she finished 3d.  In 1991 she won the big competion which took place in Rome, with her song Fångad av en stormvind. Her last participation at Eurovision was in 2006 in Athens with the song Invincible where she finished  5th in the final.
