ByeALex will represent Hungary at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest with his song Kedvesem. A special international campaign has been launched in order to spread the song’s message throughout the globe.
KEDVESEM – International video campaign!
We all know that ByeAlex will perform his song at the Eurovision Song Contest in Hungarian, a language only few understand. Despite that, it has already inspired fans around the world to record a cover of the song. Fans are in for a surprise now! In order to spread the song’s message throughout the world, a special international video campaign has been launched where fans are invited to translate Kedvesem into their own language!
How to participate?
We provide the official English lyrics of ByeAlex’s song, enabling anyone around the world to translate it into any language. Participants are asked to send their videos to the official Hungarian ESC Facebook site where they will be shared with a broad audience.
Help us to reach out to the people’s hearts with Kedvesem! You are invited to translate ByeAlex’s Kedvesem – ONE 4 ME to your language! You can find the official English lyrics of Kedvesem here. Participants of the campaign can download for free the Swedish-Hungarian version of the song here. This special campaign will end on 10 May.
ByeAlex will compete at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest Semifinal 2 on 16 May and will the 12th act to perform.
Hungary debuted at the Eurovision Song Contesst in 1994 with Frederika Bayer and is yet to win the event. The country’s best placing a the Eurovision Song Contest has been a 4th place in 1994.
