Shiri Maymon, Israel's entrant to the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv, started today making the new video clip for her Eurovision entry Hasheket Shenish'ar.
The new video, which will be filmed in Haifa and the international airport in Tel Aviv, is influenced by the Bodyguard motion picture. Shiri Maymon took the place of Whitney Huston, the superstar rushing from concert to concert and falling in love with her Kevin Costner. The final video will be completed by the end of the week, although the official preview clip of the song, which will be broadcast around Europe, will still be the live performance from the Kdam-Eurovision.
Meanwhile, IBA announced today that several of this year's artists will be coming to Israel in the coming weeks. Constantinos from Cyprus will be landing next week for a promotional tour, followed by Angelica Agurbash of Belarus accompanied by Philip Kirkorov (Russia 1995) and then Malta's Chiara, who will visit Israel – the country that took the victory from her, back in Eurovision Song Contest of 1998…
