RTS, the Serbian national broadcaster has announced that the 2013 Serbian national final  Beosong will be held on 3 March, whilst the semifinal will be held on  2 March. The Serbian broadcaster has also published the rules and regulations for their national selection. Artists and composers interested in competing can submit their applications as of today until  20 January 2013.

RTS  earlier this week  revealed to Esctoday.com that they will be opting for a transparent competition, hence the broadcaster will open a call for artists and composers to send in their applications. Those interested in participating can send in their applications from 1 December. The Serbian national selection will consist of 2 days, hence 2 shows are scheduled to be held in March. The 15 best  performers/ songs will be selected before final to compete in the first show. Thus the top 5 will battle each another in their quest to represent Serbia at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in the 2nd show.
