The Swedish Melodifestivalen is for many the most anticipated national final of the year. This year it will be even more in the spotlight, as Sweden will host the Eurovision Song Contest in May in Malmö. Also the Melodifestivalen final will take place in a brand new arena near Stockholm, the Friends Arena in Solna on 9 March 2013. The participating songs in the last two heats will be revealed today at 9.55 CET in a press conference, webcast live on melodifestivalen.se.
The songs and the artists will also be revealed simultanously via the SVT Melodifestivalen Twitter account. The official hashtag to discuss the Swedish national selection rounds is #melfest.

Today SVT will announce the contestants taking part in the last two qualifying heats in Skellefteå (16 February 2013) and Malmö (23 February 2013). The first 16 entries were revealed last week.
