TVP the Polish national broadcaster has informed Esctoday.com that no decision has been made yet regarding Poland’s participation at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.  TVP  is expected to make a decision in the coming months, wether they will return to the Eurovision Song Contest next year or not.

Poland withdrew from the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 stating that the broadcaster would not compete in 2012 as they were involved in the Euro 2012 European Football Cup and  2012 the Olympic Games. TVP has not decided yet wether they will return to the Eurovision Song Contest next year.

Poland debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 with Edyta Gorniak’s To Nie Ja,  placing 2nd , thus being  the country’s best placing at the event till date. Stay tuned to Esctoday.com for the latest news on Poland and the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
