RUV, the Icelandic national broadcaster will broadcast the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2026 live from Vienna, despite Iceland’s withdrawal from the competition this year.

Icelanders will be able to watch all three Eurovision 2026 shows live on RUV 2. Iceland will not compete at ESC 2026 due to Israel’s participation at the contest.

Iceland debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest exactly 40 years ago in 1986, the country is yet to win the contest. The Nordic country’s best results so far in the contest were achieved in 1999 and 2009 when it placed 2nd in the Grand Final.
