JIVA, the Azerbaijani Eurovision 2026 hopeful, has released her Eurovision entry ‘Just Go’.

JIVA will represent Azerbaijan at the forthcoming Eurovision 2026 edition in Vienna with ‘Just Go‘. She has premiered her Eurovision entry along with its official music video.

The 2026 Azerbaijani entry has been penned and composed by none other than Fuad Javadov, an Azerbaijani -American. The official music video has been directed by Farhad Ali.

İctimai Television describes Just Go by JIVA as an emotional ballad about love, heartbreak and inner strength. The song reflects the idea of rediscovering oneself and turning a new page in life after experiencing disappointment in a relationship. JIVA gives an emotional performance in the recording, which fans can expect to be replicated on stage at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in May!

JIVA (Jamila Hashimova)  is a well known Azerbaijani singer who kicked off her musical career in 2003. The 2026 Azerbaijani Eurovision hopeful has partaken in various musical projects throughout the career. JIVA is no new name to the ESC as she vyed to represent Azerbaijan at the ESC 2011 when she partook in the Azerbaijani national final that year achieving a top 3 placing in the competition.

Azerbaijan debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 and has won the competition once, namely in 2012 with Eldar & Nikki‘s ‘Running Scared’. The following year the country welcomed the Eurovision bandwagon for the very first time in its majestic capital Baku.

The Caucasian nation has partaken in Europe’s favorite television show 17 times, having competed in the event every year since its debut in 2008.

Mamagama represented Azerbaijan at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland with their entry ‘Run With U‘.
