LELEKA, the 2026 Ukrainian Eurovision hopeful, has relased the Eurovision version of ‘Ridnym’ along with its official music video today.
LELEKA has relased the revamp and official music video of her Eurovision entry ‘Ridnym‘.
The updated version was enhanced by an even richer sound of the music instrument bandura performed by musician Yaroslav Dzhus.
LELEKA says:
This Eurovision version of the song ‘Ridnym’ is special to me. I wanted to emphasize its roots and sound even more strongly, so there is more pure sound of bandura at the beginning. Bandura is a very symbolic instrument for Ukrainian culture. Its sound contains our history, our songs and memory. I call it the “Ukrainian harp”, but it has an even deeper meaning for us — it is the sound that instantly brings us home.
LELEKA was crowned the winner of the Vidbir 2026 and will have the grand honour of representing Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with her entry ‘Ridnym’.
She is currently preparing for her Eurovision 2026 performance. LELEKA will be travelling to Europe in the coming weeks in order to attend three musical events including the two Eurovision pre parties: Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam and the London Eurovision Pre-Party.
