All artists and song titles known! After weeks of speculation and complete silence from the national broadcaster AMPTV, Armenia has finally revealed their chosen act for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. SIMÓN will fly the Armenian flag in Vienna and will sing Paloma rumba!

With this announcement, Armenia becomes the last of the 35 participating countries to reveal details about its participation in this year’s contest. Until now, the Armenian broadcaster AMPTV had kept its Eurovision plans entirely under wraps, maintaining complete silence regarding the artist who will represent them in the 70th edition of the contest.

Following an internal selection, it was finally SIMÓN who will have the honour to take to the stage in Vienna, in the hope to make the Caucasian nation proud. This participation comes right after his last year’s 2nd placing in Armenia’s national selection event, Depi Evratesil with Ay paparey bye.

But no more wait, It’s time we enjoyed the Armenian 2026 entry Paloma rumba:

Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest

Armenia made its Eurovision debut in 2006 in Athens and has since achieved eight top-ten finishes, while failing to qualify from the semi-finals on only three occasions. So far, the country’s best result remains 4th place, achieved by Sirusho in 2008 with Qélé, Qélé and Aram MP3 in 2014 with Not alone.

Last year in Basel, Armenia was represented by Parg, who delivered an iconic performance of his entry Survivor. He eventually ended up in 20th place in the final with 72 points.

At the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, SIMÓN will aim to deliver another strong result for the Caucasian nation. Armenia will participate in the first half of the second semi-final on 14 May.

The anniversary 70th Eurovision Song Contest will take place on 12, 14 and 16 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. Follow ESCToday for all the news and developments regarding the awaited event.
