Finland has chosen Linda Lampenius & Pete Parkkonen as its representatives for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The duo won Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2026 on 28 February 2026 and will now carry the Finnish flag to the international stage in May. With their powerful duet Liekinheitin, they convinced both the public and the juries in a dramatic voting sequence.
A spectacular night in Tampere
Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2026, Finland’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, took place on 28 February 2026 at 20:00 CET (21:00 local time).
After all performances were completed and the votes had been combined, Linda Lampenius & Pete Parkkonen were announced as the winners of UMK 2026. Their song Liekinheitin received the highest combined score from the juries and the Finnish public.
Finland’s Eurovision plans
Finland will compete in the First Semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The Semi-final allocation has been determined by the traditional draw, decided by the show producers and approved by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
