Norway has decided for Eurovision 2026! Yes ladies and gentlemen, the Norwegians have selected their Eurovision act and entry for Austria!

Jonas Lovvwas crowned the winner of Melodi Grand Prix 2026 and will have the grand honour of representing Norway at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria with ‘Ya Ya Ya’.

A total of 9 acts competed for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026 during tonight’s gala. The show was held at the Hakons Hall in Lillehammer and was hosted by Ronny Brede Aase, Marte Stokstad and Markus Neby.

Norway in Eurovision

Norway debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 and has won the competition thrice: 1985 (Bobbysocks), 1995 (Secret Garden) and 2009 (Alexander Rybak).

The Nordic country has successfully hosted the competition thrice, once in Bergen and twice in Oslo and has partaken in Europe’s favorite television show 63 times.
