Cosmo was crowned the winner of the 2026 Austrian national final- ‘Vienna Calling- Who Will Sing for Austria?’. Cosmo will defend the Austrian colours at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 on home soil with his entry ‘Tanzschein ’.
A total of 12 acts battled for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026. The show was held at the ORF Studios in Vienna and hosted by Cesar Sampson (Austria 2018) and Alice Tumler (Eurovision 2015 hostess).
Caroline Athanasiadis, Eric Papalaya (Austria 2007) , and JJ (Austria 2025/ winner) were the members of the commentary panel.
The 2026 Austrian act and entry were determined via a combined 43 member jury (international/ national) and public voting deliberation.
