Italian icon and superstar, Achille Lauro, will co-host one of the Sanremo 2026 soirees with Laura Pausini and Carlo Conti.

Achille Lauro (San Marino 2022) who is amongst Italy’s most sought after artists in Italy will be co-hosting the Second Soiree of Sanremo 2026 with Laura Pausini ( Eurovision 2022 host) and Carlo Conti. Achille will be hosting the event for the very first time, having competed at Sanremo four times (2019, 2020, 2022, 2025). He appeared at the Sanremo Song Festival as a guest act in 2021 and 2023.

He represented San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin.

RAI and Italy are gearing up in full steam for the upcoming Sanremo 2026 edition. Sanremo 2026 will consist of five televised shows running from 24-28 February.

Achille Lauro, one of the most exciting figures on the contemporary Italian art scene, will host the second evening of the Sanremo Music Festival, broadcast live on Rai 1, RaiPlay, and Rai Radio2 from February 24 to 28, alongside artistic director Carlo Conti and Laura Pausini. Achille Lauro will return to the Ariston Theatre stage for the first time in this capacity, following his memorable appearances in the competition in 2019 with “Rolls Royce,” 2020 with “Me ne frego,” 2022 with “Domenica,” 2025 with “Incoscienti giovani,” and his appearances in 2021 as a regular guest and 2023 as a special guest. 

Able to navigate music, imagery, and cultural languages ​​while constantly reinventing himself, he has carved a unique path that has earned him 40 platinum records, 12 gold records, and seven studio albums.
