SWR, the German, broadcaster, has annonnced that the tickets for the forthcoming 2026 German national final- Eurovision Song Contest Das Deutche Finale will be up for grabs on Wednesday 28th January.
The 2026 German national final is scheduled to be held on Saturday 28th February in Berlin with a total 9 acts battling for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026. Barbara Schöneberger and Hazel Brugger (Eurovision 2025 co-host) will co-host the competition.

Eurovision Song Contest- Das Deutche Finale
The 2026 German Eurovision entry and act will be determined via a combined international jury/ public voting deliberation. The show will be broadcast live on Das Erste at 20:15 CET.
The German national final will consist of 2 stages:
- In the first stage, on February 28th at “Eurovision Song Contest – The German Final 2026,” a distinguished international jury of 20 music experts from 20 Eurovision participating countries will evaluate the nine acts and select their three most promising favorites.
- In the second stage, the public alone will decide which of these three acts receives the coveted ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest and will represent Germany in Vienna in May.
