Suspilne, the Ukrainian national broadcaster, has confirmed the Vidbir 2026 hosts.
Timur Miroshnychenko and Lesya Nikityuk will have the grand honour of hosting the Ukrainian national final- Vidbir 2026.
Lesya Nikityuk will be hosting the Ukrainian national final for the very first time, whilst Timur has hosted the national final for numerous years and has been the Ukrainian ESC commentator for many years too. Timur co-hosted the ESC 2017 in Kyiv.
Lesya says:
This year I will be hosting the National Selection for Eurovision for the first time and I am very nervous. But the love for music and constant curiosity for new participants have never left my soul. For many years now I have not missed the National Selection and the international Eurovision, I always write down my top 5 songs in a notebook, although I never guess the winner, but I tirelessly believe that I still understand music. I want to emphasize once again that for me this is not just a show that I am going to host – Eurovision is something that I have been really interested in for many years.
Today, I especially want to be involved in that fateful moment when one of the Ukrainian stars will give Europe his light — even despite the darkness at home.
Timur will be hosting Vidbir once again this year, his Eurovision connaissance, expertise and experience have garnered him much fame, name and recognition both in Ukraine and abroad.
Timur says:
I’m sure it will be special. Lesya and I have worked a lot at various events, but we have never met on the air, on the stage of a large-scale concert. This will be our debut on the big screens together. I know that Eurovision has long wanted to see Lesya. I hope that Lesya also wanted to be on the stage of the National Selection. In the end, this match happened, I am happy to be in such company and I am sure that it will be interesting, extraordinary, and in places even epic.
Vidbir 2026
Vibdir 2026 is scheduled to be held on Saturday 7th February 2026. A total of 10 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026 at the Ukrainian national final- Vidbir 2026.
The 2026 Ukrainain Eurovision entry and act will be determined via a combined public voting and jury deliberation.
