Ukraine is gearing up in full steam for Eurovision 2026 and its national final Vidbir 2026.

Vibdir 2026 is scheduled to be held on Saturday 7th February 2026.  A total of 10 acts will battle for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026 at the Ukrainian national final- Vidbir 2026.

The 2026 Ukrainain Eurovision entry and act will be determined via a combined public voting and jury deliberation.

Suspilne, has revealed the state of art Vibdir 2026 stage concept and design.

German Nenov (Vidbir 2026 Creative Producer) says:

The main task in creating this year’s stage was to create a unique stage space, which in its configuration would have no analogues among previous Ukrainian National Selections.

Last year we focused on LED screens and the content on them. This year, when briefing potential productions, I set a goal to shift the focus to the lighting fixtures that would shape the geometry of the venue.

It was also important for us to addu a floor screen and a moving element to the stage design to diversify the performances and expand the means of expression compared to previous years. Our goal was to create a stage that would provide several stage areas at once and remain as flexible as possible for directorial decisions. Thanks to the work of the Starlight Production teams, this idea was accurately captured and implemented perfectly.

Suspilne’s official press release reads:

According to the new visual solution, the National Selection jury will sit to the side, the traditional large table will also disappear. In addition, one of the additional spaces will be a balcony, where the finalists will be accommodated.

Like last year, the show will be based on the concept of the “Musical DNA of the Nation”, developed by the Suspilny design team. It combines three important symbols: the heart – the logo of the Eurovision Song Contest; musical waves – as the unstoppable energy of oscillation from sound waves; and the stylized image of DNA – as an allusion to the dance of lines, musical waves and vibrations.
