NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, has unveiled the ten MGP 2026 competing acts today during a special press conference in Oslo.

Melodi Grand Prix 2026 will consist of a single show with a total 9 acts battling for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026. The show will be hosted by Ronny Brede Aase, Marte Stokstad and Markus Neby. MGP 2026 will be held at the Hakons Hall in Lillehammer, Norway on Saturday 28th February.

NRK unveiled the 8/9 competing acts at the forthcoming Norwegian national final:

  1. Alexander Rybak – «Rise«
  2. Hedda Mae – «Snap back«
  3. Mileo – «Frankenstein«
  4. Emma – «Northern Lights»
  5. Storm – «Lullaby«
  6. Leonardo Amor – «Prayer«
  7. Silke – «Forevermore«
  8. Jonas Lovv – «YA YA YA«

The 9th act will be determined via duels.

We should note that Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009/ 2018), is vying to compete at the Eurovision Song Contest for the third time.

All the MGP 2026 competing songs are scheduled to be premiered on 26th January.
