Melodifestivalen is the whole of Sweden’s party where anything can happen, as KAJ’s win and enormous success showed in 2025. In this year’s competition, several of the people’s favorites are making a comeback while half of the starting field are debutants. Grezcula, last year’s bronze medalist, opens the competition and young, new names like Felix Manu, Klara Almström and Emilia Pantić  represent the strength of Swedish pop. AleXa and A*Teens frame with international flair and previous winner Sanna Nielsen makes a comeback as the final entry in round five
