ERT, the Greek national broadcaster, has set the date for the Ethnikos Telikos 2026 competing acts reveal.
ERT is set to reveal the 28 competing acts at the forthcoming Greek national selection- Sing For Greece -Ethnikos Telikos 2026- on Sunday 4 January 2026 via a special televised show.
The special presentation show: Sing for Greece: Ethnikos Telikos 2026- The Finalists will be broadcast on ERT 1 at 18:00 CET. During the show will reveal the 28 competing acts in the Greek national selection and will unveil snippets of the competing entries.
Sing For Greece- Ethnikos Telikos 2026
The 2026 Greek national selection Ethnikos Telikos will consist of three live televised shows: two semi-finals and a grand final.
A total of 28 songs will compete in each of the two semi-finals, fourteen songs will battle in each of the two semi-finals. Seven songs from each of the semi-finals will proceed to the Grand final after a 100% public voting deliberation.
Hence a total of 14 songs will battle for the golden ticket to Eurovision 2026 at the Grand Final. The 2026 Greek Eurovision entry and act will be determined via a combined public voting/ expert jury deliberation (Greek & International).
Greece at Eurovision
Greece debuted at the Eurovision in 1974 and has won the event once in 2005 when Helena Paparizou stormed to victory in Kyiv with her mega hit ‘ My Number One‘.
Greece enjoyed its golden era at the Eurovision Song Contest from 2004-2013, achieving 9 top 10 placings in the Grand Final, including its 2005 victory. The Mediterranean country has partaken 45 times in our favorite television show.
In 2025 Klavdia represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest with her iconic entry ‘Asteromata‘, achieving an honourable 6th place in the Grand Final.
