A show full of surprises and musical highlights: Which solo artists and bands will compete in the German national selection is determined through an internal selection process, culminating in the grand live show “Eurovision Song Contest – The German Final 2026.” Part of the multi-stage process included songwriting camps organized by SWR, where artists collaborated with internationally renowned songwriters and producers to develop songs for the ESC. A shortlist of songs and acts was then evaluated and judged by music industry experts, an international jury, and audience jurors. The most promising acts will take to the big stage in the final.
